About Aletheia

Aletheia (al ay 'thi ah) - Greek Word (ἀλήθεια) for Truth

    Who We Are

We believe that God's desire is to transform lives through revealing the truth about who He is, and who we really are in Christ. Not who the enemy has defined us to be.

We have found that from encounters with the Living God, lies are exposed, strongholds are broken and Truth can be revealed. God desires his people to have full and transformed lives.

Jesus not only offered salvation to those he encountered, he also healed and delivered them. Throughout scripture, people who encountered the Living God, were saved, healed and delivered.

It is through authentic encounters with God the Father, Jesus and the Holy Spirit that people are set free and one's life cannot stay neutral.

"Only truth from the Holy Spirit, spoken softly and gently, can calm the raging waves of our painful past." (Ed Smith, Healing Life's Hurts)

    Understanding Brokenness

Brokenness has always been a part of human life. We all experience it in one way or another. Perhaps you find yourself struggling with grief, addiction, broken relationships, or depression.

While we value greatly mental health professionals and most especially Christian counseling, we have found that oftentimes there is a spiritual dynamic at play.

Aletheia centers in healing prayer and breaking demonic bondages. We have a team of trained and experienced prayer teams available to you.

We have learned not to underestimate the power of loving prayer expressed with the gifts of the Spirit and in the name of Jesus.

    Our History

How God birthed Aletheia Ministries through faithful servants

In 2007 God began to lead a small group from St. Giles to study inner healing tools and prayers. This group, led by Kathy Davis, began to see miraculous changes in their own lives as a result. Elle Westover also attended this group.

As God began to heal and change the lives of the members, Elle and Kathy began to use the concepts they had learned to pray for people and co-founded Aletheia Ministries. Gleaning wisdom from other ministries such as Sozo, Derek Prince Ministries, Elisha House, Theophostic and others, Aletheia Ministries was birthed.

As Aletheia Ministries has developed, the Lord has introduced additional ways through scripture that aid in removing any hindrances in one's relationship with God the Father, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit.

In 2010, Aletheia held their first conference and began to train and equip others in what God had started. Currently, Aletheia, a ministry of St. Giles Presbyterian Church, conducts personal ministry sessions weekly. Leadership training through workshops and conferences is provided as needed and/or upon request.
